Celebrating exactly two decades since he launched his solo recording career, keyboardist, composer and multi-faceted sonic architect Mike DiLorenzo infuses "Glad It Happened to Me," with an incredible swirl of boisterous vibes, tasty grooves, edgy synth textures, sweet swirling atmospheres and a humbling sense of gratitude. The track is his latest high-spirited collaboration with veteran Atlanta soul singer Anna Moore, who most recently brought her cool vocal fire to his 2024 EP SLO' JAMS and his previous single "Days Like These." Catching a glimpse of his all-star resume including accompanying Whitney and Cissy Houston, it's no wonder he's so at home working with great vocalists.
