We're not sure if keyboardist/composer Rei Narita is studying Italian these days, but he is creating playfully grooving, instantly compelling tunes with thought provoking titles in this language. His latest gem "Strada Facendo," which translates to "on the road" or "along the way," invokes the feeling of a journey without a destination or a finish line, yet filled with the pleasure that a journey in of itself can bring. His punchy percussive perfection backs an ever-evolving swirl of melodic piano, inventive synth imaginings and hypnotic atmospheres. On a deeper level, the inspiring title can also refer to what we can learn along the way as we travel both literally and figuratively on the road of life. With Narita, music is always an adventure!
