The life long songwriter and singer is back with her beautifully produced 2nd album release, FOOLISH GIRL. Recently recognized by Billboard Music Awards, the UK Songwriting Awards and as a Producer’s Choice in the L.A. Music Awards, the Sydney, Australia-based artist introduces an appealing, new sound that fuses elements of jazz, blues, urban and nu-jazz. The result is strong and sophisticated! In the past, I have compared Skii to pop icons Annie Lennox and Tina Turner because of her sassy and confident stylings in her songs… I would say that this new outing only reinforces my opinion and in fact, I will add that FOOLISH GIRL is on par with the aforementioned divas. From the strong title track to the bright horns and rhythm of “Love Remembers” to the compelling passion of “One Cross” and “Choose,” Skii is remarkable and an inspiration to womankind worldwide.
